NARRATOR: Listen to Maria talk about her busy week of live music around the city. SPEAKER 1: Hi! Someone told me you went to ten different places last week. Is that true? SPEAKER 2: Yes! It was amazing. On Monday, I was at a small café on Green Street. There was a guitarist there, and he played from eight until ten in the evening. SPEAKER 1: Wow, a full concert in a café! SPEAKER 2: Exactly. Then on Wednesday, I went to a jazz club under the old cinema. It was between a bakery and a bookshop, so it was easy to find. We arrived at nine o'clock, but the band didn't start until half past nine. SPEAKER 1: Did you have to wait long? SPEAKER 2: Not too long. On Friday night, I was walking past the park when I heard music. There was a free concert on the stage in the park, so I stayed for an hour. SPEAKER 1: That sounds better than the jazz club! SPEAKER 2: Actually, the concert in the park was the best of the week. The sound was fantastic, and it was free! SPEAKER 1: And what about the weekend? SPEAKER 2: On Saturday, I went to a rooftop bar above the shopping centre. We were going to watch the sunset, but it started raining, so we had to go inside. SPEAKER 1: Oh no! What should we do next weekend, then? SPEAKER 2: We should go to the new venue near the river. My friend says it's better than any other place in town! • You will talk about when you go to each place and where each place is located.
