Anna has a small shop in the city center. Her shop is not big, but it is very colorful. There are red hats, blue shoes, and green scarves on the shelves. Anna loves her job because every day is different.
Today, a boy comes into the shop with his mother. He wants a new coat for winter. 'I like the yellow coat,' he says. 'It is bright and happy.' His mother smiles and says, 'Yellow is a nice color, but look at this black coat. It is warm too.' The boy thinks for a minute and picks the yellow one.
Anna also sells T-shirts with fun pictures. There is a white T-shirt with a orange cat on it, and a purple T-shirt with stars. Children love these T-shirts. Anna's favorite T-shirt is the blue one with a big sun. She always wears it on sunny days.
In the afternoon, two friends come to the shop. One girl wants pink socks, but the shop doesn't have pink socks today. 'Don't worry,' says Anna. 'We have grey socks and brown socks. Can you wear grey?' The girl says yes, and she is happy with her new socks. Her friend buys a green jacket.
At the end of the day, Anna looks at her colorful shop. She is tired, but she is happy. She thinks, 'Clothes with nice colors make people smile.' Then she closes the door and goes home.
