Last month, Marta's class went on a school trip to a small farm outside the city. They left school at eight o'clock in the morning and arrived at the farm two hours later. The bus was noisy because everyone was excited about the animals.
When they got to the farm, a friendly farmer called Tom met the students at the gate. He showed them the cows, the chickens, and two big brown horses. Marta wanted to touch a horse, but she was a little afraid at first. In the end, she stroked its nose gently, and it felt very soft.
After that, the students helped Tom feed the animals. They gave the chickens some corn and carried water to the horses. Marta's friend, Jake, dropped a bucket of water by accident, and everyone laughed. Nobody was angry because it was funny, not dangerous.
At lunchtime, the class sat outside and ate sandwiches under a big tree. The weather was sunny, so they didn't need their jackets. After lunch, Tom taught them how to make butter with fresh milk. It took a long time, but the butter tasted delicious.
The students didn't want to leave the farm at the end of the day. On the bus home, they talked about their favourite parts of the trip. Marta said the horses were the best part, and Jake agreed, even though he got wet earlier. It was a wonderful day that nobody forgot.
