📖 Reading

Mia and her brother Tom are very excited this week. Their cousins are coming from Australia, and the whole family is planning a big weekend together. Mia is checking the calendar every day and writing notes about all the plans. On Friday evening, the cousins are arriving at the airport at seven o'clock. Mia's dad is driving there to pick them up. On Saturday morning, the family is having a big breakfast together, and after that, they are going to the city park for a picnic. Mia is bringing her new football, and Tom is bringing his kite. In the afternoon, they are visiting the museum in the city centre. Mia's mum is taking lots of photos there because she loves art. Later that day, they are meeting some old family friends at a small restaurant near the river. Everyone is trying the new fish dish because the waiter says it is delicious. On Sunday, the family isn't doing anything busy. They are staying at home and relaxing in the garden. Mia's grandmother is cooking a special lunch for everyone. In the evening, the cousins are flying back to Australia, so the family is saying goodbye at the airport again. Mia is already a little sad about it, but she is also planning their next visit for the summer holidays.
